Seems as though it only goes 2miles not 5 like it says. though the riders weight determines the actual ability i understand that, but unless it goes 5 miles with no one on it i think its distance is significantly less. I bought for my 13 year old daughter who weighs roughly around 85lbs. Half of the determined limit. This was riden in town, flat sidewalks, not a hilly area here where i live, and expected more i suppose. The charge time 4-6 hours is okay but when she only gets to ride for about 20-30 minutes it seems not quite what you'd expect.
I suggest buying somewhere else where a return is not going to be a hassle. i would return it promptly though, can't afford to take my daughters present away from her.
Buy a different one.I think this would be better for a younger rider though its very tallfor a young rider to use.

I purchsed this for my 8 year old son and it has been the best purchase this year. He practices safe rifing and utilizing his elbow and knee pads with his stylish helmet.

This worked great for a week and now won't start at all and we have no idea how to fix it!
